CSP Right to Rehab- Right to Space

We are pleased to share the newly published Right to Rehab: Right to Space film, which highlights the importance of creating the conditions and environments needed for rehabilitation to happen effectively.
The CSP recognises that increasing workforce pressures across health and care services can make it difficult to provide the rehabilitation people need to prevent deconditioning and maximise recovery. Addressing these workforce challenges is at the heart of the CSP's staffing and supply campaigning, which is one of the reasons this work was integrated with the Right to Rehab campaign from the start of this year. The two agendas are intrinsically linked: securing a right to rehabilitation means not only recognising its value, but also ensuring there are enough skilled staff to deliver it consistently, effectively and at the right time.

The Right to Rehab: Right to Space film reinforces this message by highlighting the importance of creating the conditions for rehabilitation to happen. Our proposed inpatient rehabilitation film seeks to complement this by demonstrating what effective rehabilitation looks like in practice, using real patient stories and rehabilitation journeys to show the difference it can make.
