Membership is open to all Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) members who have an interest in the well-being of older people as well as other Allied Health Professionals. We offer Associate, Assistant and Student membership.  As a professional network we must ensure 70% of our members are registered with the CSP.

Membership categories:


Open to fully subscribing members of the CSP. All UK Physiotherapists must be registered with HCPC.


Offered to sites with rotational staff.  This entitles the department to one paper copy of AGILITY, one discounted place on AGILE courses/ conferences and one vote at AGILE AGMs as applicable (attendees must be a CSP member).


Open to other Allied Health Professionals and other professionals at the discretion of the National Executive Committee (NEC). Associate members must be a member of their health or professional body to be eligible.


Any physiotherapist working outside of the UK who is a member of their country’s physiotherapy governing body.


Open to support workers/physiotherapy assistants via paper application.


Open to all physiotherapy undergraduates and those in full time post graduate study in physiotherapy. Membership can be purchased annually or for the duration of your course (2,3 or 4 years). If you are not a student member of the CSP additional consideration is required by the NEC.


This is conferred by the National Executive Committee to an individual in recognition for their work by AGILE

How to join Online

This is the easiest and quickest way to join, using our secure online process.  It typically takes 3-5 minutes (if you already have a CSP website account) and access to AGILE member content on the website is immediate.  

If you do not have a CSP website account you will need to create one first, to do so click on 'Register' and again follow the instructions.  If you have an account but have forgotten your login details, click on 'login' and then click on 'reset your password'. You will get an email to enable you to reset your password.

Overseas members please note: - Payments can only be accepted from UK bank accounts or the Paypal account. Please email the Treasurer or Membership Secretary for account details.
