Dear AGILE Members
AGILE Member Questionnaire – Working with Exercise Professionals to Deliver Falls Prevention Exercise Programmes
Please take the time to complete this survey (link below) which has been designed to generate a deeper understanding of the existence of partnership working between physiotherapists and exercise professionals in the delivery of falls prevention exercise programmes. It should take you no longer than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
Please answer the survey as if we were operating in business as usual circumstances i.e. pre COVID-19.
On behalf of AGILE, I would like to acknowledge the COVID-19 situation we are currently living and working in - as a committee, we recognise that many of you will be working above and beyond responding to the needs of people affected by the coronavirus at this time. AGILE have taken the decision to share this survey link now, at this particular time, because in our own clinical capacity we are experiencing some unexpected periods of down time (most likely due to a wind down in the acute phase of the pandemic, before we wind up again to face the rehabilitation surge in the recovery phase which will ensue). As such, we were keen to use this relative down time to reach out to our members and ask for their support in completing the survey to inform our future work. Please note the survey itself is not perfect although we have corrected a few errors which were highlighted within the original survey.
The results from the survey will inform further collaboration between AGILE, Later Life Training and BASES (professional network for exercise professionals) to optimise falls prevention exercise prescription and programme delivery in a way that is quality assured and built on principles of evidence based practice, partnership working and integrated joined up care pathways.
Access to the survey is via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2PGN38L. The survey will remain open until the end of June 2020 but we may decide to close it sooner. Reminder emails will be sent asking you to complete the survey if you have not already done so, to support an increased response rate.
Many thanks in advance.
