Following the success of the first national Hip Sprint audit in 2018 which was delivered by the Royal College of Physicians, the CSP are looking to continue this improvement work in the guise of ‘Hip Sprint Local’.
It is a fantastic opportunity for AGILE members to collaborate with other CSP members who are involved in rehabilitation post hip-surgery and improve clinical outcomes for patients, by better implementing the hip fracture standards .
It is recommended that you join your local ‘Hip Sprint Hub’ which will provide more information, resources, tools and opportunities to network with your local peers and colleagues.
AGILE are key partners in the delivery of this important work as hip fractures are of such a critical concern to our specialist patient group. We will be involved in the co- delivery of a series of Hip Spring Local events across the UK which we hope you will attend. These events are for CSP members and the hope is they will be contributed to by CSP (and AGILE) members – for example, by sharing the work you are undertaking locally to improve/implement the Hip Fracture Standards. Please let us know as soon as possible if you would be willing to share your work.
