Membership is open to all CSP members who have an interest in the well-being of older people.

Membership categories


Open to anyone who is a fully subscribing member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. All UK practicing physiotherapist members must be HPC registered. Assistant membership is open to those who are members of the Associates board of the CSP


Group membership can be offered to sites with rotational staff.  On payment of the fee the department shall be entitled to one copy of AGILITY and subsidy on AGILE merchandise. Each group is also entitled to one discounted fee at AGILE courses /conferences and one vote as required, providing that the course / conference / voting delegate is a CSP member.


  • Members of a profession allied to physiotherapy.  This will be open to other professionals at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Such professionals must be members of an equivalent health or professional body.
  • Overseas membership is available to any physiotherapist working overseas. Overseas members must be a member of their country’s physiotherapy governing body.
  • Student physiotherapists (at a reduced rate) who are student members of the CSP.
  • Unemployed new graduate physiotherapists (at a reduced rate).  This is available to qualified CSP members who have not obtained a physiotherapy post since graduation.


This is conferred by the National Executive Committee individual in recognition for their work by AGILE

How to join Online

This is the easiest and quickest way to join, using our secure online process.  It typically takes 3-5 minutes (if you already have a CSP website account) and access to AGILE member content on the website is immediate.  

To join online, simply find the option 'MEMBERSHIP' in the upper left menu, click on the appropriate link and follow the instructions.  

If you do not have a CSP website account you will need to create one first, to do so click on 'Register' and again follow the instructions.  If you have an account but have forgotten your login details, click on 'login' and then click on 'reset your password'. You will get an email to enable you to reset your password.
